This piece was produced with the mission to create the feeling of brine within a jar, that would have a direct correlation with how the paint was applied to the canvas. Lots of blended edges and thin applications create a sense of realism with a contemporary edge of cool blues, white and greys. This is offset with a pop of the deep purply olive that is, the ‘odd one out’.
